PRIP is a predictor for interface residues in protein-RNA interfaces. It takes one or multiple protein sequences in FASTA format and annotates the position of the interface residues within the sequence. PRIP encodes sequence residues by their PSI-BLAST profiles and utilizes a Support Vector Machine with an RBF kernel to perform the prediction. The SVM was trained on the RB144 data set and tested on the RB36 data set.

Processing of a single sequence can take several minutes and currently there is no progress information provided. Be patient! The maximum number of sequences that can be submitted at once is 5. The following two example sequences can be used for test purposes. The prediction result will appear at the end of this page.
